Administrative and Technical Support

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to establish and expand internship and PhD programs that align with the institute’s research goals and areas of expertise, by driving partnerships and engagements with universities, industry leaders and government bodies.
  • Design and execute TLL’s training and capability development policy to enhance the skills and capabilities of new/existing staff in alignment with the institute’s overall capacity building efforts. This includes the development of core and functional competencies and TLL’s training roadmap for both administrative and scientific staff.
  • Review the training and development policy and propose refinements to create a culture of continuous and shared learning and organise regular talks/sharing sessions for staff to promote a culture of lifelong learning.
  • Gather data to measure the effectiveness and impact of internal training programmes and forecast and track the budgets and financial resources required for the training programmes to ensure sustainability and growth.
  • Organise staff engagement activities that are aligned to TLL’s values to strengthen culture building, and propose strategies to create more public awareness on the research work undertaken by TLL.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields
  • Possesses at least 5 years of relevant working experience in HR Development, Training & Development and/or Organizational Development
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure, and be meticulous while ensuring high quality of work
  • Ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders, with a creative flair
  • A team player and problem solver
