Plant Biology Sheds Light on the Development of Important Plant Organs

8 July 2016, Singapore – Scientists at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) have successfully identified an important protein that plays a crucial role in controlling the development of the shoot apical meristem (SAM). SAM is a key part of a plant that contains stem cells which continuously differentiate and produce all the above-ground parts of the plant.
